As I sat at my desk today, searching for jobs to apply for, my thoughts kept returning to our son, Elder Charles has now been on his mission for over 18 months. I fill a great empathy for my Heavenly Father. As we sent Elder Charles out to serve in the mission field my fillings were mixed. Craditude vs. Lonleness I can only imagine the joy and the sorrow our God must fill as he has sent us here to be tested and proven worthy to live an Eternal Life. I look forward to the day that we will be gathered together in the "family room" in the Celestial Kingdom. The stories we will tell will be endless as will our joy.
I do not know why, exactly, I have been thinking so much about my son. I know that he will come home a stronger servant and a grateful son. Why do we want what we cannot have? Why is this mortal life such a harsh test? Please dear Lord ease my mind so that the confort of the comforter can be felt. I love you!!!
