"Conference was amazing." These were Elder Charles first words in this weeks email. He especially liked the two back to back talks on the temple. The only ones to go to the church on Sunday were the senior missionaries, Elder Charles and his companion Elder Conrad. Three of the people, from the same family, Elder Robinson and Elder Conrad have been teaching will be baptized on April 18, 2009. Unfortunately for Elder Charles he has notified us he will be transferred on Friday, April 10, to a town called Poteau, OK. I wonder if he will ever leave Oklahoma. He want to stay for the baptisms but in his words, "I guess the Lord has other needs for me." Charles is also sad to leave "three way golden investigators" they have been teaching.
They did not see any Spoonbill fish caught when the went out. However, Mr. Huglett took them to a state sponsored fish cleaning area and the got to see some Spoonbills and even had their picture take with some. I can't wait to see. I have never seen a Spoonbill. Missions do so much for this young men. What a blessing it is to have Elder Charles serving. I will post pictures if I get them.
