New Zealand Tropy Red Deer

Here is a picture of the monster size Red Deer Charles' dad harvested on the North Island of New Zealand. Scott and Amy hunted from March 11-16, 2009. It was a wonderful trip. Amy also harvested a SCI Silver Medal Red Deer. Scott also harvested a Sci Gold Medal Fallow Deer. Cindy, Matt Amy's husband, and Charles nephew Jackson all went on the trip. They also toured the country side for four more days. They visited a lake call Rotorua that is very large and surrounded by volcanic activity. They were able to learn about the first settlers in New Zealand called the Maori natives. The country is unbelievable. It is a sub-tropical paradise.
